<p><strong>Event Cleanup</strong> was onsite for the 2012 CN Canadian Womens Open LPGA event this year. Sub-contracted through <strong>Event Labor Works</strong>, we supplied labor staff for installation and strike of 49 tents ranging from small to very large!</p>
<p>Tent setup was a 2 week process in total, with a full crew of 7. The weather was beautiful, the grass was green and the tents were erected on schedule and without a hitch.</p>

<p>Our day began as the sun rose from the east, and we were on the road to <a href="http://www.greenscapedecor.com/" target="_blank">Greensapes</a> in Burnaby (amazing landscape decor!) to pickup 12 cherry blossom trees, greenery and flower arrangements. From there we made our way to visit Matthew at <a href="http://bigredchairevents.com/" target="_blank">Big Red Chair Events</a> to load up 115 chivari chairs. Once loaded we headed out to Harrison Hotel in beautiful Harrison Hot Springs.</p>
<p>Event Cleanup staff assisted the Maria and her staff from <a href="http://nicheeventstylists.com/" target="_blank">Niche Event Stylists </a>in putting together the elaborate decor scheme from floor to ceiling consisting of several backdrops and drapery, LED hanging globes, cherry blossom trees, greenery and of course the chivari chair seating.</p>
<p>Of course, what goes up must come down&#8230;</p>
<p>After the nights festivities we came back to strike the decor we had spent many hours putting up. We swiftly loaded the truck into the late hours and headed back on the highway for an early morning drop off of the cherry blossom trees and chairs at 6am.</p>
<p>Overall the bride was more than pleased with Maria&#8217;s decor scheme and staff and everything went well from start to finish.</p>
<p>Another successful event for the books!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Event Cleanup was proud to assist Mandala Communications Inc with setup, strike and other labor needs in the Suncor Energy corporate conference held at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.</p>
<p>This was not just your average corporate conference setup&#8230; as you can see in the first pic below, there was trussing, staging, light shows, giant video screens and a full banquet setup to accompany.</p>

<p>This party was a bit different than our usual setup and strike labor. A zombie part for Slant 6, launching their newest video game Raccoon City which is part of the Resident Evil video game series. We started early with a slough of pickups from film industry supply and rental locations to help this event have the authentic feel that Sarah (<a href="http://dreamgroup.ca" target="_blank">Dream Group Productions</a>) had in mind as the coordinator and brains behind this event. Once we had all of her items onsite the setup began. There was everything you would see in a feature zombie movie from blood and guts, body parts, bullet casings, police cars, street lights and yes even zombies&#8230;</p>
<p>It was a fantastic display of creativity, and the guests had nothing but wonderful things to say as they departed the nights events!</p>
<p>Cleanup was rather new to us as well, as we had never taken care of a cleanup that had blood all over windows, floors, vehicles and any other surface you could imagine!</p>

<p>Event Cleanup staff was on site for the seasonal Ronald McDonald Gala at the Four Season&#8217;s Hotel in Vancouver. Cleanup went well into the morning hours with a guest count of over 500! As we arrived and happy guest departed the nights festivities of dancing, auctions and a charity casino, we began the cleanup process.</p>
<p>Piles of chair covers over 6ft tall, linens that could fill a truck to the brim and enough sashes to decorate a small town all had to come down and be sorted, folded and returned to the lovely ladies at <a title="Elegantly Covered Events" href="http://www.elegantlycoveredevents.com/index.html" target="_blank">Elegantly Covered Events</a>.</p>

<p>Event Cleanup was proud to supply the 14 person labor force to Event Labor Works (Montreal) in a successful effort of setting up and taking down the Audi Drivers Experience, help in Pitt Meadows from Nov 11 to 13, 2011.<br />
The weather was cold and the hours were long, but as you can see in the pictures below we always managed to have a good time and of course we got the job done!<br />
This particular setup was comprised of an interlocking paneled sub-floor, structural walls with full double doors and glass pane windows from floor to ceiling. Tent tops were fabric as usual. Once the structure was standing we began on the inside, featuring a bistro style coffee bar, catering, graphic displays on structural  stand alone walls and of course heating and air conditioning.<br />
Overall the event was a great success and we were proud to be a part of this event!</p>

<p>North View Golf Course is a beautiful place to get married. The venue  boasts an outstanding facility along with a great evening view of the  fountains surrounded by a small lake on a backdrop of a well groomed  golf course. The wedding reception was lavish and well designed in terms  of decor, which was supplied and overseen by Vicki and Kelli of <strong><a href="http://www.elegantlycoveredevents.com/" target="_blank">Elegantly Covered Events</a>.</strong> Wedding colors were purple and silver (hard to see in the pics) and the  candelabra center pieces were nothing short of the outstanding. Overall  this wedding&#8217;s decor stands out as a work of art!</p>

<p>Did we mention that <strong>Event Cleanup</strong> staff were there as well? We played a small part in set up and cleanup, but fell short of our own blog as the decor was the topic of conversation!</p>
